Osvaldo Escanés
Osvaldo Escanés (Spain) an architect and designer, began exploring jewelry design in 2012 as a form of creative expression. His aim was to craft small objects that convey the character and movement of nature. Since 2018, he has collaborated with the Madrid contemporary jewelry gallery Lalabeyou, showcasing his work in exhibitions around the world.
Escanés’s creations merge traditional techniques with innovative materials, resulting in organic, nature-inspired forms reminiscent of plants and marine life. His recent works revisit classic jewelry-making practices, incorporating techniques such as wax carving, soldering, and engraving. He often embellishes silver pieces with natural semiprecious stones, enhancing their visual richness.
Guided by his fascination with nature, Escanés produces vibrant, figurative pieces that capture the essence of color, movement, and the playful qualities of summer fruits.
